Lake City’s First Baptist Church was bought by Jeff and Jenny Redenius in 2018 with the promise to repurpose the property in a way that will help the community. Jeff and Jenny finally decided on a short term fully furnished rental space due to high demand in community due to many nursing homes and hospitals in our area that employ traveling nurses and other medical professionals.

In 2021, Jeff and Jenny were able to fully complete the Baptist Church sanctuary into two separate long term fully furnished apartments and hotel that we now call “Sanctuary Suites”.

Sanctuary Suites proudly serves Lake City, Rockwell City, Carroll, Ft. Dodge, Manson, Lake View, Wall Lake, Glidden, Gowrie, Lytton, Jefferson, Lidderdale, Fonda, Pomeroy, Palmer, Paton, Churdan, Ida Grove, Pocahontas, Twin Lakes, Fort Dodge, &  Sac City as a premium extended stay hotel option.
